I'm a big Bruce Willis fan. Would probably rent a video of him buying his groceries. So all "Die Hard" movies would go here. Like the "Lethal Weapon" series too. So these movies would fall under movies I could watch more than once. Other favorites would be an eclectic mix:

Baghdad Cafe
Cinema Paridisio
Fandango
Strictly Ballroom
and anything from the 50s involving enormous radioactive bugs!

Again eclectic. My radio tuner is set for
Classical
Classic Country
Classic Rock
New Age
Rap
(Just kidding about the Rap, seeing if you were paying attention!)

I go through Authors instead of subjects which is probably a bad way to go about things. I loved all things Michener, Stephen King, Ayn Rand, John Steinbeck,Larry McMurtry, Elmore Leonard. For anyone traveling to Alaska, Colorado, Mexico, Texas, Chesapeake Bay area, or Isreal, I recommend reading James Micheners books on those areas as they will allow you to appreciate the area tenfold.

Fun at RVScrapbook...

Mostly short trips with Alpenlite Travel club, have attended The Great North American RV Rally in Bend OR a couple of years ago and am going again this year. Have traveled through Montana, Oregon, Idaho and Washington with our 5th wheel.

Best trips have been to the Hook-U-Up RV Park in Libby, Montana in late September. Summer crowds are gone and just the regulars are there. Evening campfires, clear river, apples on the trees (if you know where to look, watch out for bears!). So quiet you can hear the blood run through your veins.

We have a 1997 33' Alpenlite St. Andrews w/2 slides. This is our fulltiming retirement rig and since I have 3 years to retirement, we are having fun getting it ready. Although it is 10 years old, it had set since 2001 as the older gentlemen who owned it was terrified of towing. Bought himself a motorhome. As it is going to be our home, we are renovating it to our tastes and making it comfortable for us. I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how!

I've made my RV my hobby. Not so much using it as tinkering with it. If I see something on a newer model that I think would be neat to have on mine, I go ahead and figure a way to make it work in mine. As I've bought and sold over 30 RVs over the years, I feel comfortable tackling different problems with them. I've had a 1958 Airstream in my possession for 10 years and can't seem to finish it to sell it. I get all jacked up and do a bunch on it and then it will sit for a year. Gotta get serious this year (he said half seriously)

In looking at your page, I realize I forgot to write down one of my favorite movies when I did my profile....Baghdad Cafe. I'm going to rent it and watch it again. I also have read most of Michener's books. Welcome to scrapbook.

Thanks for stopping by the page. Yes golf is helping me to get some much needed exercise and build relationships with new friens wherever I go.

I don't know how much I will improve especially if I have these long winter layovers. It really doesn't matter however as I am having much fun and thats all that matters.

If you look at our old taravel blog you will read about the full adventures of El Rocinante. The icon on our site is one I had made up by a sign shop for a few dollars and have on each side of our mortorhome.
