I am a constant traveler,in my 1956 slightly used Airstream, pulled by a Nash Rambler, looking for food happiness since I graduated from the Buddy Crockpot School of Culinary Arts in Lusk,Wyoming(The Culinary Capital of the West). In early 2007 I was awarded the Order of Phi Jelly Doughnut with Blueberry Icing. My inspiration has always been Julia Child. If she could do it; why not me? The little fat guy from Pillsbury always is an inspiration to me.I have recently upgraded my cooking equipment to include a new Coleman stove with a grill and a separate burner. I also added a Turkey Fryer so that I can deep fry almost anything including Tater Tots.

Boston for chowda,Toronto's Kings Market for anything,Old Town Montreal for french food,Detroit suburbs for "Fruit Markets",Windsor,ON for bread,Chicago for deep dish pizza & Chicago Hot Dogs with celery seed,Bowling Green KY for barbecue,Windsor,CT for Greek pizza,Brattleboro,VT for turkey dinners,New Orleans-What else do you want to know,Gretna,LA for Chinese made by a Vietnamese brother and sister,San Francisico for Dungeness Crab,Newport,KY for 6 way chili.Houston TX for anything at Central Market and Spec's Downtown Gourmet Food and Liquors.NEED ALL OF YOU LOVING RV'ERS TO TELL ME WHERE YOUR BEST HAUNTS ARE. HOPEFULLY I CAN GET THERE AND SNITCH THEIR RECIPES.

My 1957 Nash sorta kinda struggled going over the Continental Divide pulling my 1956 Airstream. A kindly trucker from Peoria pushed me up the mountains.Chained himself to the Airstream so that I could go down the other side.

Knitting booties for Siamese cats.I have just purchased an 8 track player for my Nash so that I can play my collection of classic rock and roll.

Cheffie, I have a recipe that I've been making for years .... great for rving ... or home ... or wherever....soooo easy. I'm sure you must know about it but didn't see it in your blogs or anywhere...appropriately titled: "Happy" Chicken aka "Drunk" Chicken 1 whole chicken 1 can stout beer (no low calorie beer) Personalized seasonings You can make it day/night before...wash & dry chicken with paper towels. Rub your seasonings all over chicken (inside and out). Store in zip lock bag overnight. Put a can of opened beer on the hot grill. Place the bird over the beer on the grill. The bird looks eerily real as it is sitting upright/starring at you. Don't let your dog or cat see it as it drives them crazy. The first time I made this, my granddaughter and I ate it all...over the sink. (Tom Jones style) The meat was falling off the bone and we couldn't wait to put it on the table. Don't do this as it is so good with other things. Another variety for this recipe is to paint jerk all over the outside...then you don't have to season as much. Either way.... out of this world!!!! Ralf I'm sure loves this recipe. ~~gypsy mama

Hi
Glad you are joining my friends list. I'm not a cook but I do enjoy good food. Presently we are enjoying good food in Mexico, specifically Palenque , at the ruins.
Hope to hear from you again, soon. I'm only getting email intermittently so don't be surprised if I don;t answer immediately.
James

CHEFFIE.....I still do care and haven't been ignoring you. I've been in Sedona for the past couple weeks and it's a psycedelic experience here. Have you been here? I was last here over 20 years ago; it's gotten a bit more commercial but more people and more business can't change the mystical ~ charming ~ unbelievable topography ~ and yes.....the cuisine......& shopping! From here to New Mexico, then Texas, then the....New Orleans Jazz Festival, then to Shiloh...YEAHHH! See you soon......gypsy mama

I have a receipe for you figure out. I want to know the receipe for The Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX BBQ sauce. It's like a honey mustard base but I've never had anything like until we ate there last year. Delicious!!!!
