I like all types of movies except blood and gore and thrillers. My favorites are old classics that come on late at night.

I love music from the 60's 70's and everything from blues, country, and rock.
Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin,Jefferson Airplane, Santana, The Doors, James Taylor, The Byrds, Pink Floyd, Joan Baez,Creedance Clearwater Revival, Earth Wind and fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Crosby Stills and Nash, The grateful Dead, Led Zepplin, Arlo Guthrie, Woody Guthrie, The who, Neil Young, Melissa Ethridge, Aerosmith.
I am sure there are more, but I don't remember, and I didn’t inhale. (This is what happens when you grow up in the sixties) Oh and Bill Haley and the comets, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, The Temptations, Mozart and Beethoven. I am a well rounded woman and I mean that literaly.

I like all books except romance novels.
My favorites are the classics, almost all childrens books, and any self-help books.great classics, the best in childrens literature, Eric Carl, Scott O'Dell,
E Speare,Kingsolvers,McMurty's Terms of Endearment & Evening Star, All Frank McCourt's books.Just too many good books. Cook books and any Sunset how to grow books.

My husband Bigdan and I love to just take off and go. I retired before Christmas 2007, and my husband hopes to retire next year. Then we plan on being on the road as much as possible. Our home base is in Rexburg,Idaho and hopefully during nice weather we will be there.

All of our trips have been wonderful. Camping with our children will always have the best memories, and now we will make new ones by ourselves and with our granddaughter.

My FAVORITE RV CHARITY! (Please read this if you're my friend!)

We just bought a 2001 Alpha Ideal with my dream private bath. Three slides that open it up very big and roomy. Huge windows give us views all around.

Hi Lynn! I love your profile sounds like you and Dan are good people!  I retired in Dec of 2005 from the Fire Dept and am now waiting for Randy.  In the meantime we get to go on short runs and we're loving it!!  I'm not able to help him much right now but hopefully will soon.  I have two gks a boy 9 and girl 6.  We love taking them with us. We're going to Oak Glen (apple country) this weekend.  We love doing puzzles and IDing leaves and birds.  Bayley (gs) has a metal detector he uses and has found tons of stuff. (mostly bottle caps!) We're wanting to go full time but it will be a few years before we can.  We have already started reading books and gathering tips.  There are so many places we want to see.  We have a hitchhiker 5th wheel.  We started out tent camping then went to a 5th wheel with bunks, it was more about just having a place to sleep.  When we got this one all our kids and friends started dying laughing when we brought it home. (it has a ceiling fan) We told them we had graduated to old people camping and were quite proud.  It wasn't long before some of the toyhaulers got traded in and there were a few more graduates ot OPC.   Anyway enough, hope to get to know more about you guys and where you're going and where you've been.

Hi, Lynn! Thanks for inviting us to be friends. We've been on the road for nearly five years, but we don't get out often meeting people in the parks, so this may prove to be helpful in getting a circle of friends.

Now we have to learn to get around this site, doing blogs, etc. We'll figure it out soon enough, I guess.

Hi Lynn,
sounds like you and I have a lot in common. Hugh and I are going full time in a few months. My son Mike is moving into our house and taking over all the bills while we go explorer the US for a couple of years. Best of both worlds....we get to travel and he gets to housesit...AND we get to come back anytime we want to visit.
I feel the same way about scrapping on the road. How do you justify all the "stuff" you have to have. When we have taken several long trips of 2 or more months, I carried what I thought I would need....but always found I needed something I left behind. LOL I am thinking about digital for the time we are on the road, but, don't now much about it. Digital would certainly weigh less.
Sorry it took so long to answer. Hugh and I are in the process of de-junking our house. Yuck !
35 years of clutter.
Hope to talk to you soon.
Pat

Hello. Welcome to Rv Scrapbook website. I would like to introduce myself, "Texas Terry." I hope someday we have a chance to meet in person and to be able to share some common interests. We Rvers are all like one big happy family. I hope you enjoy this website, as much as I do. Please go and read all my blogs and Groups. I have added some very useful and helpful information I think would be beneficial to you. I hope all your Rv journeys are interesting and fun. Take care my friend and fellow Rver. Texas Terry

Hi Littlelynne:

Thanks again for the encouragement. :) Our hive is brand-new, so honey can range anywhere from 80 - 400 pounds this year... I have no idea!

It's really fun, though. Who would have thought? We watch the bees every day now, and they are starting to come back every day with pollen on their back legs, so, even though we can't check until Thursday, it looks like they all survived the transfer, and the hive is "alive and well."

:)

Anne
