My husband and I own Hillside Bluegrass RV Park in Cochran, Georgia. We purchased the park in January of 2006, we are originally from Pennsylvania, so this is quite a change for us. The people here in Cochran are very friendly, and we love meeting people from all over the world. Our girls love it, every time a camper pulls in, the first thing they want to know, is "do they have any kids".
The park was mostly known for it's bluegrass festivals which are held in May and September, so as well as keeping them going, we are promoting and building on the camping as well.
We have over 300 sites set on 89 acres and what we hear most is "it is so beautiful and peaceful here". We are located off the beat-n-path, away from road noise, conjestion and the hassles of everyday life. The property also borders a golf course, and there are several others around the area.
We hold bluegrass music festivals in May and September; this year we are adding a Country Music Festival which is scheduled for November; we have RV sites, Tent Sites, Cabin Rentals, a Playground, a Fishing Pond, bikes for the kids to use, horseshoes; and we are continually building the amenities.
We now have camping cabins also. They sleep from 2 to 4 people. They are strictly sleeping cabins, no kitchen or baths, however they are quite close to the bath house.

It was our first motorhome, a 1979 Monitor Class A, our daughter was 3, we just sold our house, and our first trip out alone. Before we started to build our new house, we decided to take a vacation. We headed for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We hadn't a care in the world, just the three of us spending quality time together.

Georgia, Tennessee, The Beach, The Mountains, pretty much just as long as I am with my family.
