My husband and I just purchased a used Jayco and we'd like to replace the foam mattress and cushions. Suggestions where to purchased? We're in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan.

We have never had to do this, however, I have heard from others on other boards that they just went to a fabric store, bought the foam (in the thickness they desired).. and made a cover for them... (otherwise I would suggest contacting a dealer...

I am an avid pop up camper and I am a memeber of just about every forum on the internet (You might call me a pop up junkie!). IMHO I recommend Overstock.com. You can by the 3 or 4 inch Memory foam for really cheap and it sure does make for a good nites sleep. This is what I have done in my 83 Coleman Columbia and my wife would have it no other way. If you choose to go the other route , just about any fabric store will have the foam in what every size you need and if your a decent seamstress you could cover them yourself and save a bundle. But I still highly recommend the memory foam .... you won't regret it! Steve & Laura 1983 Coleman Columbia 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

I had been thinking about a teardrop, but with all the drawbacks, ie:space, storage, going outside to cook, Perhaps a small pop up might be better for me. Anyone ever boondocked in one? What about setting up in the rain? Prices are cheaper I know, plus I could probably get a used one cheap. What are your thoughts?
