Back in the day, we took our three kids camping every weekend in the Colorado mountains to get them out of town for weekends, influence their little minds with healthy activities and have fun!  We'd head out on Friday afternoon after work and beat it up to the mountains where we'd set up camp, pulling our 5 four wheelers on a trailer behind us.  The other kids in school thought we were surely Ozzie and Harriet, since no other parents took their kids to do fun things, so they asked to join us on occasion which made it even more fun for our 3 youngsters.

No hotdogs for us, we took prepared lasagna, tacos, hamburgers and the like so every trip was memorable.  We tried to get dirty, riding our 4 wheelers through every mud hold we could find.  Some of the greatest pictures we have are of the kids in their helmets with water and mud all over themselves.  What memories we created for our children and to this day we reminisce about thos olden days.....

Now we live on a mountaintop at 9500' elevation in a log home we built ourselves, at Arrowhead between Montrose and Gunnison Colorado.  We snowmobile in from Dec-April like it's normal to our house, privacy is extreme!
